The first model in Breguet Tradition collection, the Breguet 7027 was introduced in 2005, drawing inspiration from Breguet’s Subscription pocket watches from over 200 years ago while incorporating modern watchmaking technology.
Featuring an elegant 37mm case, the watch showcases a beautifully balanced layout reminiscent of early Breguet designs, including its symmetrical gear train, bridges, and centrally positioned mainspring barrel.
The escapement system has been updated with Breguet’s modern escapement architecture, paired with a free-sprung balance wheel featuring four regulating screws. It also retains traditional elements such as the double-layer Breguet hairspring and the signature pare-chute shock protection system.
The dial features two different guilloché patterns, while both the front and back plates are finished with a gilt-style sandblasted treatment inspired by traditional techniques.
Through the caseback, you can admire the power reserve mechanism as well as the rare snail-shaped stopwork system, further highlighting the beauty of traditional haute horlogerie craftsmanship.
The name “Tradition” truly reflects what this timepiece represents.
